Flinders Medical Devices and Technologies (FMDAT) is a network of researchers, highly skilled in the development and application of a diverse range of medical technologies. This collaborative approach to the research for innovative solutions and services makes FMDAT ideal as a single site for product development and testing - taking projects from fundamental concepts right through to preliminary clinical trialing.
FMDAT includes more than fifty researchers and clinicians from Flinders University, Flinders Medical Centre and the Repatriation General Hospital. This Area of Strategic Research Investment (ASRI) has been selected competitively to represent one of Flinders University's key research capabilities.
